Walking

The little squirt is walking well now, and trying to walk a lot of the time. I finally managed to get some video of him practising!



And Danial put together a gate at the top of the stairs, which works really well considering its from part of a playpen we bought from the dump shop!

First haircut

Well, Campbell finally got his first haircut last Saturday - Daddy cut most of it, and Mummy tried to even up the ragged edges!  As you can see in the photos, its hardly a professional cut, but he no longer has his fringe in his eyes.  I didn't think I'd get emotional about it, but I was looking at the last lot of photos, and all of a sudden I missed that little long-haired mischievious look!  But they tell me it'll grow back...

And finally here's proof that the lil ratbag has started to walk - I was actually going to take a photo of him standing by himself, then he decided to take a few steps for the camera!  Actually, the camera caught him at the point of toppling over, but he was taking steps immediately before that!

And I figured that since the ratbag can now climb up pretty well, he needed to learn how to climb down safely.  And he's learnt pretty quickly, he almost always turns and puts his feet out forwards.  Although now he thinks it gives him licence to go practice his newfound skills as often as he can!

Birthday party fun

Campbell had lots of fun at his friend Emily's first birthday party last Sunday! It was held at the Woodhaugh Gardens in North Dunedin, and had an expanse of green grass and a playground. He had a go on a swing, played soccer with Jessie the dog, and Daddy helped him slide down the big slide!
