Bucky the pirate ship fort

We have a pirate ship in our back yard!  Well kind of, Danial has built an awesome play fort for the boys, and it has turned into a pirate ship called Bucky, thanks to Campbell (and Jake & the Neverland Pirates!).  It is still a work in progress, but it's looking really good so far!

Firefighter Sky Tower Stair Challenge

We've just had an awesome weekend in Auckland, where Danial completed the Firefighter Sky Tower Stair Challenge along with heaps of other NZ firefighters.  He finished in 21.03 minutes!  Here's some photos of him before, during and after the event:

They're growing up...

Can't believe how much my boys are growing up!  My 'baby' is definitely no more - he's now a running, climbing, sliding toddler!

And my big 4 year old can fly his Lightning McQueen kite he got for his birthday (thanks Aunty Suze, Uncle Jimmy and Lyssa!).

Happy 4th birthday, Campbell!

My oldest baby is growing up fast!  Campbell turned 4 last Friday, and we celebrated it on Saturday.  We managed to get a beautiful sunny, warm day and Campbell had great fun with his friends!
He'd decided he wanted a Jake & the Neverland Pirates themed party (one of his favourite Disney Jr TV shows, for those who don't know it!), and dressed up for the occasion!

Happy 1st birthday, Regan!

My wee man turned 1 today - my baby has definitely turned into a real toddler now!

Regan's 1st birthday party!

Sniff... my baby is not really a baby anymore!  He turns 1 year old in only three days!
We had a wee afternoon tea for him yesterday afternoon ( a bit early, I know!) - not really a party, but both sets of grandparents came up, and our close friends helped us celebrate too.  I made a dairy free, low sugar banana oat cake especially so me and the little boy could eat it - I think everyone else enjoyed it as well!  And Regan got to add a few things to his Christmas toy hoard.  Campbell has enjoyed showing him how to use them!  Here's a few pics from the great day we had...
