Labour Weekend

It's been awhile since I last posted, so a quick update - Regan is crawling, pulling himself up, trying to stand by himself (his record is 9 seconds as of yesterday!) and walking a little when holding our hands.  He's growing up so quickly, and getting into lots of mischief!  Campbell is learning his alphabet, and spell and write his own name!

We went down to Masterton for Labour Weekend, to visit my parents and my brother, who was down from New Plymouth.  We planted a tree, a rewarewa, for Regan in our wee section of trees and plants at the Millenium Reserve, and some kakabeaks to replace the kowhai trees we lost.  The boys had fun feeding the ducks in the lake, with their 'cousins' Zach and Michael.

On our way home, we made a visit to Mt Bruce Wildlife Reserve, and we all had a great time checking out the birds for a couple of hours.  The highlight was talking to a very friendly kokako, who also let me take some awesome photos of her!
